This article really brings home the crazy under the skin of social apps. We are such naturally social animals, and so bad at thinking seriously about what ifs, that it’s easy to get caught up in sharing our personal and locational info with our “friends”, to our own detriment.

These social apps are not going to go away. The best you can do is educate yourself and use them sparingly.
